The Hellenic Mountaineering Club of Sparta announces to its members and friends that on Sunday, 10 May 2026, a voluntary clean-up of the Socha - Kalyvia Socha trail, in Central Taygetus, will take place.

Meeting point: Socha square, at 9:30 a.m.

Those who wish and are able to participate in this voluntary action are invited to contact the expedition leader, Giorgos Poulocephalus, at 6944713636.

Important notes:

1. Departure from Sparta for Socha will be from the indoor gym at 8:30 a.m.
2. After the clean-up work, a customary welcome from the Club's Board of Directors will follow in Socha square.
3. As this involves manual labour, participants are kindly requested to bring appropriate gloves with them.
