Excursion to Parnon on Sunday 26 April 2026
Route A: Theologos - Vrestheniotiko river - Karyes & Route B: Vresthena - Karyes
The Greek Mountaineering Club (E.O.S.) of Sparta is organising, for its members, on Sunday 26 April 2026, a traverse of the European path E4 on Parnonas, specifically the section from Theologos village to Karyes.
There will be two routes:
Route A
Route: Theologos - Vrestheniotiko river - Karyes
Distance: approximately 27km (difficult)
Hours: 8 to 9.
Difficulty level: C

Route B
Route: Vresthena - Karyes
Distance: approximately 13km
Hours: approximately 5

Transport will be by private car.
Essential for participation, good physical condition and appropriate personal equipment for the season and altitude (hiking boots, windbreaker, waterproof jacket).
