The Hellenic Mountaineering Association (H.O.S.) of Sparta is organizing for its members, an excursion to North Taygetos on Sunday, April 21, 2024, on the route Kastri - I.M. Zoodochou Pigi - Gournitsa - Freatio - Ano Chora - Vordonia

Time of the march : about 4 - 4.30
Minimum altitude: 535m - Maximum altitude: 1050m
Altimetric: Total 1633m (ascent 829 + descent 804)
Difficulty level: B+ ( the + from the existence of an exposed field of about 100m, but secured with a wire rope.)
After the Monastery of Zoodochou Pigi, a small part of the ascent requires the use of hands. (scrambling)
