The Hellenic Mountaineering Club of Sparta will organise an afternoon walk on Wednesday 24-6-2026, as part of its 'WE WALK in nature' initiative, specifically on the Koumousta - Golas Monastery - Koumousta route. From Koumousta, we can walk an easy and excellently marked route which leads -.
From Koumousta, we descend to the Rasina stream and then follow a good path along the Larnakia ravine through rich vegetation. Finally, a dirt track leads to the monastery.
The route is suitable for all ages and for families with children (10 years old and above).
There is no participation fee.

Goal is an introduction to hiking, mild exercise, enjoying nature, and getting acquainted with the Club, its activities, and the nearby paths of our area.

Recommended is the use of sports clothing, shoes, and trekking poles, and don't forget to bring water and possibly a snack.
